Redirect 2% of income tax

Every year between March to May we initiate a fundraising campaign. Each of us can decide by completing a form to redirect 2% of the income tax to Romanian Angel Appeal Foundation.

This amount is not a sponsorship or private donation and does not cost you anything.

What is 2%?

2% provision of the Tax Code (Act 571/2003, Article 90) enables individual taxpayers to direct 2% of income tax to a non-governmental organization. The difference from the years in which this provision did not exist is that now, every taxpayer can decide that 2% of the tax which anyway it has to be paid to state to be directed to non-profit associations for education, childcare, elderly, sick or with special needs, environmental or animals, to culture, research and more. 2% provision is applied once per year at the conclusion of global income statements, until 15 May.

What you have to do?

1. Complete the 230 Form (if you had income only from wages) or 200 Form (if you had income from wages and independent activities or only from independent activities: self-employment professions, intellectual property rights, rents etc.)
2. Send the form to the tax authorities by the deadline.
3. If you have friends who haven’t joined an other causes tell them about us and ask them to complete these forms with our tax identification data and we will come to your headquarter to take the forms and send them to the related tax administration.
